There has to be a first post!

So.....this is my very first blog post! I've been meaning to start one-- just like I've been meaning to do the laundry and paint my nails. Ha! This post is about getting started. I told myself that it didn't have to be interesting or witty. It just had to happen. So, I'm patting myself on the back for finally getting to this.
